Q: What are your candles made with?

A: As of May 1st, 2008 all of River Valley Candle Company's Candles are made from 100% clean burning Soy wax.  Our Candle Company prides itself on quality scented candles.  Try our Scented Candles made with soy and you won't believe the difference.  Soy provides scented candles with virtually no black smoke and absolutely no toxins.  Here at River Valley we pride ourselves on being "GREEN".  I know you will love our scented candles once you try them.  So give River Valley Candle Company a try, and you will smell the difference.

 

Q: Where is River Valley Candle Located?

A:  We are located in Omaha, Nebraska.  I started the candle company here in Omaha about two years ago.  I have always loved candles, and decided to start doing something I love to do in my spare time.  I currently have this online store, and go to local craft fairs when time permits. 

 

  

Q:  What is River Valley Candles policy on returns?

A:  I am committed to 100% customer satisfaction, and will gladly refund the purchase price minus the shipping and handling charges, once the product(s) are returned to me at less than 5% used.

 

 

Q:  Is my personal information and credit card information safe on your site?

A:  Yes to both, all the details can be found on the main page, under “shopping guarantee”.

 

 

Q:  When should I expect my order to be delivered?

A:  I do my best to have every order shipped out with in 48-72 hours.  If for any reason you need to meet a deadline, please add the comments in the order page and I will do my best to meet your needs.  Wholesale orders are shipped with-in 21 days of order.  I make all my candles at home and do my best to meet my customer’s needs.

 

 

Q:  Does River Valley Candle Company offer wholesale accounts?

A:  Yes we do!  On the main page you can click on the wholesale button above the search field in the top right side of the page.  You can sign up for a wholesale account there.  River Valley Candles only offers wholesale accounts to businesses with a valid tax number.  If you have further questions you can contact me at by clicking on Contact Us (top of every page) and I will provide you more information.  I currently do offer free 5oz candle samples after you submit a wholesale application and your tax ID number is verified.  I will have wholesale orders shipped within 21 days of order placement.  Minimum order amount for wholesale is $150.00, and if here locally in Omaha I will drop off product for free!!   Subsequent order minimums are $75 at wholesale price.  Please

Q:  What should I know about burning candles safely?

A:  The biggest thing I can't stress enough is to always keep your wicks trimmed at 1/4 inch.  Not only is this safer it also helps prevent black smoke and increases burn time.  Never put candles on or next to wood, fabric or anything else that might be combustible.  Burn candles maximum 3-4 hours at a time.  Never ever leave a candle burning in an unoccupied room.  Also keep candles out of drafty areas, and never burn candles around small children or any sort of pet.  Use your common sense when burning candles. 

 

Candles are a great part of any home decor, when they are burned correct and safely.

 

 

Q:  Is sales tax added to my order?

A:  Orders shipped to a Nebraska address are charged 7% state tax. 

 

 

Q:  Do you offer gift wrapping if I am shipping an order as a gift?

A:  Yes I do, I will wrap your candle order  free of charge.
